Keeping in time with the maritime theme, this model features a polished white ceramic dial with laser-engraved waves and black skeleton luminous hands and hour markers for easy visibility, all protected behind domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Mounted on the 42mm stainless steel case is a black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel with a white enamel diving scale. Other features include a screw-in crown, anti-magnetic resistance, and a chronometer. The OMEGA Seamaster Professional Diver is water-resistant up to 300 meters and has a helium-escape valve for long term underwater work. The OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 8800 at the heart of this timepiece can be seen through the transparent case-back. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
